by Wonder Theatre (formerly Woodlawn Theatre)
Aug. 25 - Sep. 17, 2017
This August, Woodlawn Theatre sets back to the 60s and brings to the stage the Pulitzer-Prize winning Broadway classic How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Set in 1960s New York, How to Succeed…chronicles the life of J. Pierrepont Finch, a young window cleaner who with the help of a little handbook climbs the corporate ladder to a high-powered executive.
The musical satire of big business and office politics is directed and choreographed by Woodlawn Theatre’s Executive/Artistic Director, Christopher Rodriguez. Josh Pepper directs the rapturous score by Frank Loesser, and Rose Kennedy provides an elegant array of colorful couture to the costume design.
Poised for winning both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize in 1962, How to Succeed… is a comic gem guaranteed to bring big laughs and entertainment to all!
With the interpreted services of Robert Cardoza, Woodlawn Theatre will host an ASL Night (American Sign Language) on September 9 at 7:30 p.m., providing the deaf community with full communication access to How to Succeed…
