Through the glens and over the highlands of medieval Scotland, war rages between clans and chieftains vying for power and territory. Brave Macbeth has fought valiantly on the battlefield for his liege, Duncan, King of Scotland. Titles and riches are his by might and right, but are they enough? A chance meeting with three “weird sisters” reveals he is owed much more, perhaps even the very throne. Perhaps, but at what cost? In a world where crowns and kingdoms are forged in blood and steel, Shakespeare weaves a psychological, supernatural thriller for the ages.
