This intimate production of Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol" will explore the themes love, loss, and redemtion that make this store a classic. We are creating our own adaptation of the story focusing on an intimate, emotionally moving, historically informed experience. We'll be bringing you all the live period music on authentic instruments, delicious, Victorian-themed snacks. Experience Dickens's magical story the way he might have seen it played himself.
A Christmas Carol is a direct stage adaptation of Charles Dicken's 1843 novella. Adapted for the stage by Jennifer Rose Davis and Lynn Schaeffer Beaver, the play takes us through the classic story on one man's redemption and reclamation from a life of selfishness and greed through the intervention of the spirit world. It contains themes of personal redemption, social justice, human connection, and family love.
