HVAC Problems Force Closure of Public Theatre's Cellar Theatre and Downstairs Offices; Teatro Audaz Postpones LOTE BRAVO Opening

With guidance from our partners at the City, our team at The Public Theater of San Antonio has made the decision temporarily to  close the Cellar Theater, downstairs spaces, and offices until further notice. The safety of our community of theatre artists, patrons, and staff is a high concern for all companies and organizations who reside in the Cellar Theater. Currently, the HVAC system has been in an ongoing process to be fully repaired and functional so that all shows and work may continue in safe conditions. This repair is a high priority and is in progress with the goal of returning the Cellar Theater to operational as soon as possible.

Teatro Audaz San Antonio’s production of The Ghosts of Lote Bravo originally scheduled to run in the Cellar Theater from July 13–23 is presently in the process of finding an alternate location in order to continue production. However, it will not be possible to resume this weekend. Patrons who already purchased tickets are being contacted by Teatro Audaz Box Office team members to assist them with rescheduling as soon as possible.
