UPDATE: January 3 Auditions by Austin Shakespeare - Chorus of Trained Female Dancers, Boy of Color (8-10yrs), Tall Spear Carriers and Crew for MEDEA

Audition workshop for female dancers to perform as part of the "Chorus" in the Greek tragedy MEDEA at the Long Center Rollins Theater for 12 performances over 3 weekends. Movers/ Dancers  a modern dance training and especially seeking a woman age 40+ of varied ethnicities. contact: auditions@austinshakespeare.org 

Paid stipends. Choreography by Toni Bravo; direction by Ann Ciccolella. Franchelle Dorn as "Medea."

Dancers should be available for rehearsals weekday evenings and Sat & Sun from Feb. 9-Feb. 26 for technical rehearsals and performances 8 pm Thurs Fri Sat 3 pm Sun from Feb. 25-March 6.

Also seeking a boy of color between the ages 8-10 years old to play one of Medea's sons.

Also seeking actors who are six feet tall+ to play guards and serve as crew. All positions have some pay.
