Jane Austen’s brilliant romance SENSE & SENSIBILITY adapted by Hanreddy & Sullivan.
Actors who would like to audition for Tom Stoppard’s witty exploration of romance and fidelity, THE REAL THING.
Both shows require a British dialect (Received Pronunciation).

Appt required. Diversity ethnicities encouraged. This audition is for Equity and Non-Equity actors who have not performed in an Austin Shakespeare show before.
Monologues of two minutes or less can be memorized or read with familiarity.
Dates Sense & Sensibility: rehearsals begin Oct 10 evenings and weekends. Performances at the Long Center’s Rollins Theatre from Nov. 11-Nov. 27 (not on Thanksgiving day).
Dates THE REAL THING: rehearsals begin Jan 16 evenings and weekend. Performances at the Long Center’s Rollins Theatre from Feb 17-March 5, 2023.
Austin Shakespeare hires under Actor’s Equity union contract SPT1 Small professional theater company using two Equity actors, an Equity Stage Manager and Equity Asst Stage manager per show.All actors receive some pay. Non Equity actors can get EMC points.
