The Insomniac's Ball is the newest offering from the Bottle Alley Theatre Company, our first show of our newest season entitled "We Will Only Be Young For So Long" - a season based around an introspective study of the present.
The Insomniac's Ball is a world-premiere piece based on regret. Four insomniacs push themselves to stay awake as long as they can all the while playing cards and drinking. As the night grows longer and longer they begin to lose sense of time and place, and as their interpersonal relationships are revealed and begin to unravel, more and more of their truth comes out, all focused around their regrets.
Featuring Amber Hales as December, Tim Olivares as Bad News, Ariel Gilman as Marvel & Justin West as Alistair.
Performances will take place at Sessions on Mary, a private residence located at 604 W Mary St, right off of South 1st St. The house is directly across from Bouldin Street Cafe. Audience is strongly encouraged to park down Mary Street, or in one of the side streets.
Performances shall take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings beginning on Friday, January 9th. Closing night is Sunday, January 18th. The house shall open at 7 and the show shall begin at 7:30.
Warning! The Insomniac's Ball features brief instances of cigarette smoking, language, and other adult themes. It is a Bottle Alley show, so of course it does.
