Translation of an episode of The Mahabharata, the sacred Sanskrit text, into a contemporary dance theatre performance. This is a collaboration between AtticRep, the Indian performing arts community living in San Antonio, Kausi Subramanian, AnujuaSA, and SOLI Chamber Ensemble. A unique performance that will bring together the creativity of the east and the west into a fusion of tradition and contemporary performance.
With an ensemble of 30 actors and dancers of different ages and performance/movement and ethnic backgrounds. Roberto Prestigiacomo directs.
