Daisy is a Jewish widow who still sounds like the elementary school teacher she once was. Hoke is an African American driver hired by Miss Daisy’s son, Boolie. Hoke overcomes Daisy’s reluctance to be driven around, but not without some minor fireworks. This Pulitzer prize-winning comedy/drama is specially produced by Waco Civic Theatre and the Jubilee Theatre.
