Apr. 11 - Apr. 27, 2014

Rehearsals are now underway for Austin Theatre Project's 2014 Season opener, Company. Just a few weeks ago we announced our cast and were the talk of social media! Our Facebook post start out being sent to about 800 people and in less than 24 hours, it had been shared with over 5000! Why, you ask? Maybe it's because we have assembled one of the most talented casts of local actors ever seen on an Austin stage!

Returning to the ATP stage from his critically acclaimed performance in Falsettos, Andrew Bosworth promises to once again thrill audiences in the lead role of Bobby. Bobby is longing for love, yet fears commitment. Surrounded by his married friends, Bobby takes us on his personal journey as he explores the relationships around him as he navigates himself around his diverse collection of girlfriends.

Michelle Cheney will be returning to the ATP stage as the brassy (and oft-married) Joanne. Making his ATP debut as Joanne's husband Larry is local favorite Derek Jones. Joining the cast as the loving and bickering couple Sarah and Harry are Kate Clark and Kirk Kelso (also new to the ATP mainstage). Evelyn LaLonde returns to ATP in the role of slightly "square" Jenny with Stephen Jack making his ATP debut as her husband David.
Another vet/newcomer combo is Taylor Moessinger as the manic bride-to-be Amy and Bryan Burrets as her loving fiance Paul. Rounding out the gang of married friends are ATP favorites Suzanne Orzech and Brandon Myers.

Bobby's eclectic trio of girlfriends are all making their ATP debuts. Eve Sampaga will be seen as the quirky Marta andKimberly Wilson will be performing the role of the ditzy flight attendant April. Kristi Brawner will be featured in the role of the "together" Kathy. Actually, Kristi is making a semi-debut as she appeared in a few performances of last season's Edgeswhen one of our cast members fell ill.

Company is being directed by ATP co-founder Barbara Schuler. David Blackburn, ATP's other co-founder will be handling the music direction. Choreographer Meghan Bowman and lighting designer Amy Lewis are the newest members of the production team, also making their ATP debut. Joel Mercado-See is returning as sound designer and Jim Schuler is designing the set. Amy Lewis, also new to ATP, will be designing the lights.

Tickets for Company are now on sale through our online box office at Brown Paper Tickets. You can also get yours with a quick visit to the ATP website at
