Pulitzer-Prize-winning playwright Martyna Majok’s play Sanctuary is a powerful story of two teenagers who were brought to America and must navigate the pressures of having an unstable home life. Set in post 9/11 Newark, NJ, these two young DREAMers become one another’s sanctuaries from harsh circumstances as they do their best to pursue the futures they imagine for themselves.
