Hair

Nov. 16 - Nov. 21, 2021
Tuesday-Sunday

Hair,  a rock musical, follows a politically active group of draft-dodging hippies living in New York City during the late ‘60s. Though the musical is set during the height of the Vietnam War, Hair’s themes such as alienation, civil disobedience, and defiance still resonate today.

Hair first opened on Broadway over 50 years ago. The controversial musical arrived on stage in spring 1968, ushering the “Age of Aquarius” onto the Great White Way. The musical was the first of its kind, with an untraditional story structure, rock score, and countercultural commentary.

Content Warning:

This production contains adult themes including strong and derogatory language, staged violence, racial trauma, drug use, theatrical firearms, partial nudity, and intimacy. This is a safe space intended to promote discourse about the human experience. Our Front of House can provide resources and support if needed. Please take care and enjoy the show.
