After a pause in musical theatre productions due to the pandemic, the Palace Theatre is excited to bring musicals back to the Springer Stage with Mamma Mia. This show was originally slated for last summer and production resumed once a larger cast and full audience were possible. "Part of our excitement for this show is that it has been two years in the making," explains Ron Watson, Executive Artistic Director for the Palace Theatre. "We fought to stay open and are proud that we were able to continue doing small productions when many other theatres had to close. But we are ready for musical theatre to return!"
Next up for the Palace Theatre is Boeing Boeing on the Playhouse Stage on July 23, The Marvelous Wonderettes on the Springer Stage on August 20, Jaston Williams' Clear to Partly Cloudy on Sept 17-19th and Lost in Yonkers beginning Sept 3. The new season begins October 1 with Grease on the Springer Stage.
