Trifles
by Sam Bass Theatre Association
Oct. 16 - Nov. 05, 2020
A one-act public domain script opens with two women and three men who are making their way into an abandoned establishment. Signs of leftover housework are evident, all around. This shows signs of someone being in a rush or got taken unexpectedly. The five people look around, trying to make sense of the murder that has just taken place and find clues to piece together the events that lead up to it.
Wikipedia: Trifles is a one-act play by Susan Glaspell. It was first performed by the Provincetown Players at the Wharf Theatre in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on August 8, 1916.
