El sistema solar, una obra escrita por Mariana De Althaus es una historia que dota de esperanza a quienes no saben qué hacer con sus secretos y cargas emocionales y valoran los actos de reconciliación más pequeños, como el baile de un vals, una mirada o un simple abrazo.

Cada miembro de la familia tiene algo que ocultar y algo que reprocharle a otro miembro de la familia. Ninguno de los cuatro protagonistas adultos está libre de pecado y la exploración de estos personajes en sus diferentes situaciones arman la estructura de la obra, tema a tema dosificando la presencia de los mismos para acabar construyendo una historia que no busca llegar a un cierre sino a mostrar una perfecta relación familiar basada en el amor y el odio en cantidades iguales. 

Bajo la dirección de Alejandro Pedemonte, El sistema Solar marca el regreso al teatro del conocido actor Venezolano Adolfo Prieto como Leonardo y el debut teatral en Austin de Fátima García Checa como Edurne, Fernando Ríos como Pavel, Dámaris Diéguez en el papel de Paula y la revelación del joven actor Ignacio Arriagada en el papel de Puli.

The Solar System, by playwright Mariana De Althaus tells a story that grants hope to those who carry the world on their shoulders with their secrets and emotional baggage, those who value the smallest signs of reconciliation. Swaying to the sound of music, a sign of approval, or a simple hug are only a few things everyone seeks and craves 

Every member of the family has something to hide and something to reproach in one another. Not a single adult in the family is free of sin. By digging into each other, they only worsen their own well-being; in every instance, they solidify the presence of each broken character, not in search of closure, but in depicting the perfect family relationship based on love and hate on the same level.

Directed by Alejandro Pedemonte, The Solar System is performed in Spanish with English super titles and sets the return of renown Venezuelan actor Adolfo Prieto as Leonardo and the theatrical debut in Austin of Fátima García Checa as Edurne, Fernando Ríos as Pavel, Dámaris Diéguez as Paula and the revelation of young actor Ignacio Arriagada as Puli.
