Miss Murder
by Blunt Force Drama
Jun. 21 - Jun. 29, 2019
Fridays-Saturdays
What if famous serial killers had 15 minutes of your undivided attention? Through a series of individual scenes, this show allows the audience to play judge, jury, and executioner as 5 notorious female serial killers of the twentieth century are brought to life onstage.
Miss Murder was written by Gary Strong, Emilie Landmann, and Marie Quigg. First created, developed, and produced by Theater Vertigo in Portland, OR, this will be the first time this show has been produced outside its inaugural run. Director Jayne Furlong is very excited to bring this show to Austin as BFD's premier project!
Have a glass of wine and a slice of peach pie and hold on to your seats for what we promise will be a show like nothing you've ever seen. There will be five total performances, and seats are going to go fast, so please purchase your tickets ASAP!
We will have drinks for sale, desserts for sale, and artwork created by our "serial killers" for silent auction (guilt-free serial killer art!).
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our initial fundraising cabaret, Murder and Mayhem. And a huge thank you to Craft for playing the gracious host. This show would not be possible without you!
Warning: This show contains strong language and well, it's about murderers so there will be somewhat graphic content including some violence and mention of sexual assault. If you become uncomfortable, it is perfectly alright to step outside if you need to, but we do consider this production ages 18+. Thank you for your understanding.
