No Room for a Picture on the Blank Wall

Fridays-Saturdays
Local favorite actor and newly-published playwright,David R. Remschel is bringing his play No Room for a Picture on the Blank Wall to our indoor theatre September 7-22. The play follows photographer Peter Bunther (Ken De Zarn) and his wife Rosemary (Ann Reynolds) as Peter begins to experience the first signs of dementia, represented by pictures disappearing from his wall. This beautiful show is presented by an incredible cast including Martin Burniston as Bill, their doctor and friend who tries to help Peter and Rosemary understand what is happening; Brandon Newton and Jessica Sturm, their son and daughter-in-law; and Mark Sturm and Jeffery Hensel as the members of the "Memory Removal Company."
After the matinee on September 16, we will have a talk back with the actors and the director/playwright, where audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions or express any feelings they may have about the performance. It is a tough subject, but almost everyone has been affected by dementia in some way. We hope that people will not just avoid the show because they think it will be too depressing. It is a beautifully-acted show written from a new perspective and we hope you will give it a try.
