Just about everyone’s favorite rags-to-riches stage musical – Annie – makes its way back to the Springer Main Stage of the Georgetown Palace Theatre this year from October 20 to November 26! That is 6 weekends of opportunities to be charmed by this perennial favorite. Whether very young, in-between, or even much older, those who experience Annie once are inclined to do so every time it graces the stage of a nearby theatre! Come October 20th, your nearby theatre, the Georgetown Palace, is ready for you with 6 weekends of performances!
Upon her return to the Georgetown Palace, Annie brings with her the usual accoutrement: an irresistible dog named Sandy; fellow orphans, particularly Molly and Pepper; a mean ol’ Miss Hannigan;Rooster and Lily to add spice and a few dust-ups; and the heaven-sent Daddy Warbucks accompanied by the lovely and talented Grace to win the day! (Plus a VIP herein unnamed.)
With Book by Thomas Meehan, Music by Charles Strouse, and Lyrics by Martin Charnin, Annie is based upon Little Orphan Annie by permission of The Media Tribune Services, Inc. Leapin’ Lizards! Don't miss the family favorite, Annie, which includes such unforgettable songs as “It’s A Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” plus the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow.”
With his usual elegance, Clifford Butler directs Annie and designed the set, assisted by Jessie Drollette as Stage Manager, Rose Yurcina as Music Director with Lannie Hilboldt on OrchExtra, Steven Baker as Choreographer, Gretchen Johnston as Scenic Artist, Victoria Hebert with Sound Design, Rich Simms with Video Design, Lighting Design by Faith Castaneda, and Costume Design by A Cut Above Costumes.

ANNIE begins at the Palace on Friday, October 20, 2017, and runs for 6 weekends through Sunday, November 26, 2017. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday shows are at 2:00 p.m.
MATINEE ADDED at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 18.

Group rates are available for 20 or more.
The Palace seats about 295, with reserved seating paid for in the ticket price. The Palace office in the lobby of the theatre is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (except for some holiday dates). The historic Palace Theatre is located at 810 South Austin Avenue in downtown Georgetown and is part of the most beautiful Town Square in Texas!
