Dear TexARTS Family,

I am thrilled to write this letter as the brand new Artistic Director of our beloved theatre company. It is with great enthusiasm and joy that I present to you our upcoming season, filled with magical "New Beginnings."

First, we'll embark on a thrilling adventure as we kick off the season with "Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery." In this new interpretation of the classic tale, we'll join the legendary detective and his trusted companion as they solve a baffling case in a show filled with laughter, suspense, and plenty of surprises.

Next, let's rock and roll together and witness new friendships form with the musical "Million Dollar Quartet." We'll witness the incredible meeting of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Together we'll enjoy those unforgettable tunes that shaped a generation.

In the spring, we'll witness new neighbors collide in the play "Native Gardens" by acclaimed playwright Karen Zacarias. This hilarious and poignant play explores the humorous clashes between neighboring couples and the power of finding common ground.

In our quest for innovation, we proudly present the brand new adaptation of "Anything Goes." Next summer, we'll embark a sensational voyage on the S.S. American, filled with toe-tapping songs, dazzling dance numbers, and unforgettable characters set to Cole Porter’s beloved music. Let's set sail together into a world of love, laughter, and pure theatrical delight!

Rounding out our 23-24 Season is "Motown 65: A Celebration." 65 years ago, a bold new record company was launched that changed the trajectory of American music. Join us for a captivating cabaret-style performance that pays tribute to the iconic music and timeless hits of Motown as we celebrate the incredible legacy of this legendary record label.

I encourage you to secure your seats early. We value your presence in our theatre, and we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to witness the magic of "New Beginnings." As many of you have heard, we are purchasing our forever home; converting a building in Lakeway into a beautiful new performance and education space. More details on the building will come in the next few months and we eagerly anticipate sharing this incredible journey with you. Together, let's celebrate the power of live theatre and embrace the excitement that lies ahead.
