The Taming of the Shrew

This production is set in Austin 1890'sand will be performed outdoors at Zilker Hillside Theater May 1-24, Thursdays - Sunday; rehearsals start March 31 on weekday evenings and weekends. 

Austin Shakespeare practices color blind casting.

All roles are open except for "Kate" and "Petruchio" to be played by Gwendolyn Kelso and Marc Pouhé.

Austin Shakespeare is auditioning non-Equity actors on Wednesday, Feb 25 from 7 p.m. by appointment at the Doughery Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Rd. for "The Taming of the Shrew."
