AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT
Auditioners should prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare piece.
Audition speeches should be memorized or read with familiarity. Using text from the scripts under consideration is welcome.
Auditioners should familiarize themselves with the plays they are auditioning for. Scripts are available at www.mit.edu.shakespeare
FYI: On occasion, Austin Shakespeare uses cross-gender casting. Also, age range noted in character descriptions is a matter of appearance.
