My Children, My Afica!
by Austin Shakespeare

Sep. 20

The story confronts the tragedy of apartheid in South Africa 1985. It is a celebrated script that tells the tale of the efforts of a spectacular Black teacher (to be played by Marc Pouhe’) in a segregated township trying to persuade a young man that education, not violence, is the answer to South Africa’s problems. The teenagers are being coached by the teacher to join together in a literary competition.
