New auditioners please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue/speech of “heightened language” or two contrasting speeches totaling 2 minutes (may be memorized or can be read with familiarity). Austin Shakespeare welcomes Actors of all ethnicities and genders. Age is a matter of appearance. Julius Caesar and Mark Antony are already cast. Women are encouraged to audition for all other major roles in Julius Caesar. This is for our free Shakespeare in Zilker Park production.

 

Those who cannot attend may submit a 1-2 minute video with “heightened language” through our website https://www.austinshakespeare.org/auditions
