An infamous tale -- Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun!

Auditions are open to anyone 16 years old or older. For auditions, please be prepared to perform 30-60 seconds of Sondheim song and a dramatic monologue that is no longer than 60 seconds. Please sing with a prerecorded accompaniment or a karaoke track. We will have a Bluetooth speaker available for you to use. If you do not have a dramatic monologue, you can improvise a scary story.

Auditions will be August 11th and 12th, 2024 from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm. However, you will only need to be present for your one-hour long time slot.I f you cannot make it to an in-person audition, we will accept video auditions through the signup link. When selecting your audition time for a video audition, please add yourself to the waitlist. Further instructions for video submissions are listed on the audition form.

 
 - A wrongfully imprisoned barber seeking to right the wrongs committed against him. He is Johanna's father, singularly focused on taking bloody revenge. Vocal range top: Gb4 Vocal range bottom: F2 *The actor playing this role must be 18+.*
 - An entrepreneurial and amoral meat pie shop owner. She falls in love with Todd and turns his desire for revenge into a profitable business venture. Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: G3 *The actor playing this role must be 18+.*
 - A naive and youthful sailor returning to London. He helps Todd return to London and unexpectedly falls in love with Johanna. Vocal range top: F4 Vocal range bottom: Bb2 *The actor playing this role must be 18+.*
 - A spritely girl, full of innocence, constantly yearning for freedom. Todd's long-lost daughter and Turpin's ward. Vocal range top: A5 Vocal range bottom: Bb3 *The actor playing this role must be 18+.*
