"The Marvelous Wonderettes" is a smash Off-Broadway hit that transports audiences to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where four girls with big dreams serenade us with classic '50s hits, including "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," and "Lipstick on Your Collar." In Act II, the Wonderettes reunite at their ten-year reunion, taking the stage to perform once more. This heartwarming musical showcases the highs and lows of the girls' lives over the past decade and their unwavering bond.
Featuring more than 30 classic '50s and '60s hits, "The Marvelous Wonderettes" promises to be a nostalgic and entertaining journey through time that will keep audiences smiling.

Announces Auditions for "The Marvelous Wonderettes"
The Hill Country Community Theatre (HCCT) is seeking talented women to join our cast for this delightful musical journey into the 1950s and 1960s. If you have a passion for performing and want to be a part of this fun-filled production, we encourage you to audition!
Auditions for "The Marvelous Wonderettes" will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 16th and 17th, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hill Country Community Theatre at 4003 W FM 2147 Cottonwood Shores, Texas 78657. We are looking to cast all four Wonderettes: Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy.
To prepare for auditions, all you need to do is choose a song from the 1950s or 1960s that showcases your vocal talent. We are specifically seeking strong part singers for these roles, so bring your best! In addition to your song, we will ask you to read a brief script and learn a quick movement combination, so please wear appropriate shoes.
