Based on Puccini’s beloved opera La Bohème, RENT follows the ups and downs of a year in the life of a group of impoverished, artistic friends living in Manhattan’s East Village.

Aurora Arts Theatre is pleased to announce its third production of 2023, RENT presented by Scott Electric Company. Jonathan Larson's iconic Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT shaped a generation of audiences and taught us all to measure our life in love. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out an audition form. Auditions will be split into two parts - dance and singing selected by the production team.
