This is Jump-Start Performance Company's 2nd Annual Screaming into the Void Theater Festival. This years theme is "Facing the Storm". Facing the Storm is about having a conversation w/each other. It is about facing, persevering and overcoming the difficulties in life. It's about the Oppressions we experience in all its forms, at work, in your life, on a grander stage and within yourself. What are the stories that are being told? What are the battle wounds we carry, seen and unseen. How do we overcome?
***Audition Notice***
We are assembling an ensemble of performers to play multiple parts within the festival program. You will be playing multiple roles. We need all types, genders, ages, and ethnicities. You may be cast in several roles within the festival program. So versatility is necessary.
Festival dates: February 16 - 25, 2023, Thursdays - Saturdays
Prepare a 1-minute monologue. Sarcastic. Comedic. Contemporary. Singular.
We will also provide cold reading sides to read from. So. Preparation is not entirely necessary but encouraged.Please DM or email your resume and a pic, or maybe you have neither, but express an interest in auditioning.
