Senior Play

This devised piece is inspired by a deconstruction of a longer script written by Chuck Squier and Kimberlyn Montford. The play, set in a senior living facility, deals with the challenges, joys, and realizations that come from ‘coming of age.’
Jump-Start Performance Co is holding auditions for its July 2022 theatrical offering, SENIOR PLAY. Auditions will be held on Sunday, Feb 27, 2022 from 2-5 in the theatre at 710 Fredericksburg Rd. Please enter from back parking lot entrance.
The production is seeking an ensemble of 4-5 performers who can play characters in their 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s and another performer to play a character in their 20’s or 30’s.

SCHEDULING
Since this is a devised work, ensemble interaction is key. Tentative Rehearsal schedule:
- March through April: 3 - 4 hour sessions twice a month (dependent on cast schedules)
- May through July: 3-4 hour sessions up to 3-4 times a week (dependent on cast schedules)
- These meetings will be a combination of solo, paired, or full ensembles to make best use of participants’ time.
COVID-19 Health Protocols
- All participants/attendees, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask indoors.
- Safe distancing of 6 feet at all times.
