This gripping symbolic drama is placed in Memphis the night before Reverend King is shot in 1968. Katori Hall was the first black woman to win the Lawrence Olivier Award for best play in 2010 with The Mountaintop. 


AUDITION NOTICE, The Mountaintop by Katori Hall

Seeking one black female to play Camae, a chambermaid at the Lorraine Motel, in Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop. 

Auditions will be held at The First Unitarian Universalist Church at 4700 Grover off W. 49th Street on Friday December 27 from 6-9, Saturday December 28 10-12 and Sunday December 29 12:30-2pm. Audition sides will be provided.

The Mountaintop will open Friday, February 14 running Friday, Saturday and Sundays thru February 29. This production is produced by the Paradox Players, a community theatre in residence at First UU.
