Auditions will be held:
Saturday, December 14, 2:00-6:00 pm
Sunday, December 15, 4:00-6:00 pm
Monday, December 16, 6:00-8:00 pm

Due to unforeseen complications, our auditions times have changed somewhat! As always, if you can't make these, contact me for another time!

You do NOT need to reserve an audition time! Auditions are heard on an arrival basis. Plan to spend a half hour to an hour, based on number of auditioners.

Audition Details:

• Looking for actors of all genders, races, and ages (18 & up). Genders below indicate the characters’ genders, not necessarily the actors’.

• The play will use Shakespeare’s language but be played in a contemporary setting.

• Please read up on the play if you are unfamiliar with it and find some information on the character(s) you might like to play.

Audition requirements:

1. A 1-2 minute Shakespearean monologue, memorized

Gender & play do not matter; pick something you both understand and like; make a bold choice. (Sincerely, 2 minutes is enough.)

2. A cold reading from the script

Make sure you understand the piece and the words in it before you perform it; feel free to ask questions. You will have a chance to read and review it before you audition.

Please contact director Emily Fitzgerald, emfo@satx.rr.com, with any questions, concerns, or to see audition sides in advance.

The role of Feste the fool is pre-cast.

Duke Orsino (M): a noble man, very in love with the idea of being in love
