The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
by Bastrop Opera House
Sep. 28 (2019)
“What’s wrong with our little town? The Herdmans are here!”
Young performers 8 years to early teens are needed for twenty characters who act, sing, dance and create a humorous conflict under the watchful eyes of the church pastor and choir. Youthful adults and startled seniorsstruggle to oversee the annual Christmas pageant once the Herdmans decide to participate.
This new joyful Christmas show audition will provide all actors with a brief selection to be read and any one of three holiday songs to be sung by all candidates. Holiday song choices are Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls or We Three Kings. No materials need to be memorized or prepared to audition.
Auditions Saturday, September 28:
Young performers, 8 years to early teens, will be seen 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Adult performers will be seen 12 noon to 2 p.m.
