MORE season auditions for Tom Stoppard's "Indian Ink" & Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" next Saturday, Dec. 22 from 12 noon at the Dougherty Arts Center. Appointment required. Contact: auditions@austinshakespeare.org. Particularly seeking actors who are South Asian for Indian roles or diverse actors who are facile with an Indian dialect.

Shylock for Merchant will be Marc Pouhe. Auditioners should prepare a 1-2 minute piece that relates to the season. Speeches should be memorized or read with familiarity. Using text from the scripts under consideration is welcome. Auditioners should familiarize themselves with the play(s). All races and ethniticies are encouraged.
