Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor to be performed in Zilker Hillside Theater Performance May 3-27 at Zilker Hillside Theater. Actors of all ethnicities are welcome; rehearsals evenings and weekends in April.
Also seeking an actor to play Hamlet in THE WORLD'S FASTEST HAMLET daytime Mon afternoon April 16.
Also seeking actors for Midsummer in schools two days in late April-early May; also for scenes with Austin Chamber Music Center Sun July 22.

Auditioners should prepare a 1 to 2 minute piece of heightened language; including pieces from this season’s plays. Audition speeches should be memorized or read with familiarity. On occasion, Austin Shakespeare uses cross-gender casting. Also, age range noted in character descriptions is a matter of appearance. Auditioners should familiarize themselves with the plays they are auditioning for. All roles open for Merry Wives of Windsor Texas.
Austin Shakespeare shows are professionally directed and designed; all actors are paid. Merry Wives will be co-directed by Austin Shakespeare Artistic Director, Ann Ciccolella and Gwendolyn Kelso.
