Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

In this charming sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, the bookish middle child of the Bennet family must learn to be the heroine of her own story. is unexpected holiday romance, co-written by the playwright of Silent Sky, is a treat for Jane Austen aficionados and new-comers alike!
Austin Playhouse is holding auditions for two roles in MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon and directed by Lara Toner Haddock.
The roles available are Elizabeth Bennet Darcy (late 20's/30's) and Lydia Bennet Wickham (20's). Miss Bennet is an invented sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The roles require English dialects (RP preferred) and excellent comic timing.
Performances are December 1 - 23, 2017 (Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 5pm). All actors are compensated. Equity and non-Equity contracts available.
