ZACH Theatre is a regional host site for a national competition called the Young Playwrights for Change with by The American Alliance for Theatre & Education and Theatre for Young Audiences/ USA This competition is for middle school students to write plays about a social justice topic. This year’s competition’s theme is What is Family? ZACH received over 70 plays from local middle school students. Come out and Support these amazing young artists!
Finalist’s plays will be read by professional actors and directors including your ZACH favorites: Martin Burke, Paul Sanchez, Alejandra McGuire, Abe Reybold, Nat Miller, Roxanne Schroeder-Arce, ZACH Theatre's College Bound Conservatory Group and many more!
The top three plays will receive cash prizes!
