Woody: a New Fairy Tale is written by Nolan Doran and John Carden, and is directed by Andrew Hatcher with music direction by David Blackburn.
In this new fairy tale, Pinocchio is all grown up and ready to date! But "Woody" lives more in virtual reality than the real world, and that little wooden toy who always wanted to be a real boy is turning back into wood! Starring Matt Buzonas, Michael Reyna, Nathan Daniel Ford, Lianne Valerio, Emily Christine Smith, Renee Barnett, Marina DeYoe-Pedraza, Emily Haynes, Christine Lehmann, and Jane Newchurch.
Before Mainstreet Musicals, there were no local, annual, coordinated new works festivals, run by local theatre artists, featuring highly vetted musicals identified by other theatre artists, all coordinated by an artist-owned collective.
