Play On!
by Stage Presence Players

Oct. 07 - Oct. 16, 2016
Fridays-Sundays

The hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does..

This comedy is about what all goes on in theatre and what can and will go wrong, but despite this the actors must push on as the old saying goes,”The show must go on!” We have had a blast bringing together “Play On!” by Rick Abbot. This comedy is about the local community theatre trying to put on a new play that the creative, but quirky, new playwright Phyllis Montague has written, but she also has a hand in the chaos and what can go wrong will go wrong! This is an interesting production as well as it’s a play within a play and so most of the cast actually get to play 2 characters!

Cast and crew includes: Jonathan Spear as the director, Tj Condit as assistant director, Kristi Treitler,Brenda Dominguez, Eric Auggire, Bri Harner, Chelsea Wallace, Jordan Brinkman, Jenn Martin, Floyd Bowen, Jenny Frame, and rounding out this talented cast is, Leslie Morris.
