Madrigal Dinner
by University of Texas Theatre & Dance

Nov. 20 - Nov. 22, 2014

The Madrigal Dinner is a Renaissance-style dinner comedy that incorporates a four-course meal, an original play, and choir concert. This year's original play is titled "Smoke and Splinters" that incorporates sorcery, sword fighting and occasional copyrighted references. As one of the oldest traditions at the University of Texas, the annual festivity displays the creative and leadership qualities of the students who create all the content involved in the production. Attendees may purchase tickets at www.TexasBoxOffice.com until Tuesday, November 18, 2014.

Creative Arts + Theatre is a home for showcasing student talent through theatre, dance, visual arts, open mics and Madrigal Dinner, an annual Renaissance-themed dinner theatre tradition. All aspects of our events are student-produced, and include script- and music-writing, acting, design, choreography, directing and tech.
