Andre and Trey are hanging out in their neighborhood in South Dallas. Andre is planning to leave the neighborhood to go to college. Trey is struggling with his sexual orientation and is afraid to face his community without Andre’s support. They’re both relaxing, dancing, and talking shit when their day is inexplicably cursed. When Andre feels it necessary to stand up to an abusive police officer, the situation escalates.
