#Every28Hours, presented at Huston-Tillotson University, encompasses a day of community, accompanied by the presentation of one-minute plays that act as an artistic expression of the Black Lives Matter movement. Come celebrate the rich history and vibrant culture of East Austin with performances from the #Every28Hours Plays Festival, which features rapid-fire 60-second plays rooted in the statistic that a person of color becomes the victim of police brutality every 28 hours.
This is the opportunity to engage with local champions of diversity in discussion of imperative sociopolitical topics.
