The roles have been cast, the sets built, the lights hung, and tickets are now on sale for kidsActing Studio’s production of CHICAGO. This full-scale musical production, directed by kidsActing founder Dede Clark, features advanced middle school and high school students (up to age 20) from around Austin and Central Texas, beginning February 19 and running through March 6 at Center Stage Theatre.

CHICAGO has everything that makes a Broadway musical great and these teens razzle-dazzle as they deliver a universal tale of greed, murder, and corruption in the midst of a 1920s glitzy set. Theatre-goers can expect one show-stopping-song after another, delightful dancing and choreography, and “all that jazz”.

New to this production is Cabaret Table seating right on stage in the middle of the action. Patrons sitting here will have a truly unique persepective of the show, plus they’ll each receive a special souvenir and a complimentary beverage. In addition, there is a four-piece band playing live music for the show.

CHICAGO runs February 19 through March 6, 2016.
