A Night of Fashion, Costume and Drag is a community fashion show for local makers and creators of all kinds to share their designs in an inclusive, judgment-free environment. Designers are expected to show more than 50 unique looks, all of which incorporate some element of reuse materials or techniques. The event will also feature activities for guests before and after the show, including a photo booth, a full bar and food truck on-site, a live DJ, and Close Up on the Couture, a meet and greet with designers and models after the show.
ACR Artist Programs Coordinator, Jillian Srygley, said: “We’re delighted to bring Reuse on the Runway back for its fifth year. The show aims to challenge local creatives to look at materials in new ways and to inspire the audience to rethink how they view fashion . . . that fashion can be both spectacular and sustainable. Austinites and visitors will not want to miss this incredibly unique event!”

This project is supported in part by an Elevate Grant of Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment.
