Then, a 10-year reunion brings laughs, surprises, and more unforgettable tunes, including Respect and Leader of the Pack. With over 30 classic ‘50s and ‘60s songs, this sparkling musical is a joyous, foot-tapping trip down memory lane!

Unity Theatre is kicking off its 2026–2027 season with big hair, big dreams, and some of the biggest hits of the ’50s and ’60s!

The fun begins at the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy take the stage to entertain their classmates while navigating friendships, first crushes, heartbreaks, and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts. Ten years later, the girls reunite with plenty of life changes, a few surprises, and a whole new decade of music to share.

Featuring more than 30 classic songs from the ’50s and ’60s, including “Lollipop,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” “Leader of the Pack,” and “Respect,” The Marvelous Wonderettes is filled with music audiences know and love. Funny, nostalgic, and full of heart, this Off-Broadway hit is a joyful trip down memory lane that just might have audiences singing along in their seats.

Bringing the four Wonderettes to life are Whitney Zangarine as Betty Jean, Aili Maeve as Cindy Lou, Allison Grace Taylor as Missy, and Claudia Dahlman as Suzy. Director and Choreographer Jimmy Phillips leads the production, with Steven Jones serving as Musical Director and Pianist. The music comes to life on stage with Richard Bourk on drums, Conrad Guthrie on bass, and Eric Ruyle on sax and flute.

Behind the scenes, Ben Stacker serves as Set Designer, Kerry Bechtel as Costume Designer, David Gipson as Lighting Designer, and Ryan Eisworth as Sound Designer. Alan Will serves as Technical Director and Stage Manager, with Naomi Hill as Assistant Stage Manager. Together, this talented company is ready to transform Unity Theatre into Springfield High and send audiences back to the days of prom dresses, pop hits, and teenage dreams.

Grab your dancing shoes and join the Wonderettes for a marvelous night of music, memories, and fun!
