This wildly entertaining and critically acclaimed play dives behind the scenes of the making of Jaws—the blockbuster film that changed Hollywood forever. Set aboard the small boat used during filming, the story follows actors Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw as they navigate endless delays, unpredictable weather, clashing personalities, and one infamous problem…

…the shark didn’t work.

 

And this year, we’ve found the perfect home for the experience. The historic Palace Theatre has been a Texas landmark for generations. Family-owned by the Daniels family since its beginnings, the beautifully preserved vintage movie house is known for classic film screenings, live entertainment, and its incredible love of cinema history. With its nostalgic atmosphere, old-Hollywood charm, and rich legacy—including stories dating back to the 1940s and visits from legendary stars like John Wayne—it feels like stepping back in time.
