Destination
by Jarrott Productions
May. 14 - May. 31
Thursdays-Sundays
When 83-year-old widower and retired architect Howard Wright faces unexpected personal and health-related crises, he escapes his Houston assisted living facility determined to overcome his own stasis by taking matters into his own hands.
Destination is a bittersweet, yet humorous look at life and love among a generation that is on the losing end of both of those notions.
JP Founding Artistic Director David R. Jarrott directs a cast of Austin and JP favorites—Bob Beare (The Shark is Broken) leads as Howard, joined by Janelle Buchanan (Deathtrap) as Gigi, Devon Ragsdale (Dial M For Murder) as Jennifer, and Karen Jambon (The Frog Prince) as Caroline. Making their JP debuts are Valencia Lee as Alma and Joshua Nuñez as Robert.

The production team includes Producing Artistic Director Will Gibson Douglas, Production Manager & Production Stage Manager Jennifer A. Anderson, Assistant Director & Rehearsal Stage Manager Caroline Cearley, Lighting Designer MacKenzie Mulligan, Props Designer Kaitlyn Hartnagel, Sound Designer Craig M. Brock, Assistant Sound Designer & Audio Engineer Brooke Sauerwein, Costume Designer Kathryn Goshorn, Wardrobe Coordinator Rossina Lozoya, with Scenic Design by EnHaus Design, and Graphics by Nick Capelle.
