Rodgers & Hammerstein's groundbreaking debut collaboration sets the standard for modern musical theatre. Set in a Western territory at the dawn of the 20th century, the spirited rivalry between farmers and cowboys provides the backdrop for Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, a spirited farm girl, to navigate their romance. Similar to a bumpy surrey ride, their journey intertwines with the comedic escapades of Ado Annie and Will Parker, showcasing a musical adventure filled with hope, determination, and the promise of new beginnings.
