Ordinary Ephemera

Set in a surrealist world of dream-like logic, Ordinary Ephemera images dualisms - body and soul, light and shadow, internal and external. Existential friction oscillates in the wrestle with and surrender to impermanence.

Collaborators+Performers

Anna Bauer, Allysen Hooks, Rosalyn Nasky, Aidan Rodgers, Camille Wiltz

Reconstruction of original work 2023, NYC

I'm trying to feel something

A visceral delve into the immediacy of body and sensation, I'm trying to feel something is a vibrant cascade of movement and monologue. Movement is both inquiry and revelation of individual and collective longing to live in and through bones, flesh, skin hypersaturated with feeling.

Cellise Brown, Erin Ellis, Taryn Lavery, Christina Mitchell, Aidan Rodgers, Melissa Sanderson

Original score by Jordan T. Chiolis
