This production promises to bring the house down. Directed by Nathan Stith, with music directed by Jaime Ramirez, and choreography by Rafael Ferreras.
Director Nathan Stith adds: “The story of Jersey Boys is the story of the American Dream. Four working-class boys from New Jersey, the sons of Italian immigrants, rise from obscurity to the heights of Rock ‘n Roll stardom. I know our audiences will love the iconic music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but I’m so excited to share this story, which celebrates the power of hard work, drive, and determination. San Pedro Playhouse and Classic Theatre are two San Antonio theatre community pillars dedicated to producing transformative, diverse, and entertaining live professional theatre.
San Pedro Playhouse, established in 1912 as the San Antonio Dramatic Club and incorporated in 1927 as the San Antonio Little Theatre, is the longest-running theater company in South Texas. It remains a vital 501c3 nonprofit organization. San Pedro Playhouse produces live professional theatre that inspires, educates, and connects communities, engaging nearly 200 professionally paid performers and technicians annually. Classic Theatre, founded in 2008 by Chris Cheever, Asia Ciaravino, Anthony Ciaravino, Diane Malone, Rick Malone, Terri Peña Ross, and Allan S. With over 70 Alamo Theatre Arts Council (ATAC) Awards to its credit, Classic Theatre produces four stage productions annually and collaborates with San Pedro Playhouse on a series of co-productions.
