This ever-thickening plot about choices unfolds as a mysterious elderly gentleman enters a bar late one evening and makes a young couple an irresistible offer. As the couple navigates the unexpected proposition, they soon discover the old man's profound involvement in their lives, challenging their understanding of reality.

One of the The Players’ favorite veteran directors, Milton Zoth, and his design team have left no stone unturned to immerse you in the 1980’s time and feeling. Set designer Todd Martin’s authentic Chicago style bar, complete with vintage jukebox and video game, will blow your mind. And resident costumer Kathy Maldanado has dressed the characters to perfection.

There are only four actors carrying the load of this funny and heartwarming rom-com including Camden Rivers, last seen as Marlow in Shakespeare in Love, Trinity Adams, last seen as Vivienne in Legally Blonde the Musical, and veteran actors Danny Mosier and Melinda Ellisor.  

Author Sean Grennan is a well-established actor and writer, having had four world premieres for his works— Making God Laugh, Now and Then, A Rock Sails By, and The Tin Woman - a show The Players also produced to critical acclaim in 2020. This narrative of twists and turns promises to entertain and provoke thought as it delves into the complexities of our life choices and the paths we take.
