Brigadoon
by Playhouse 2000

Apr. 05 - Apr. 21
Fridays-Sundays

New Yorker Tommy Albright and his hunting partner are on a visit to the highlands of Scotland when they stumble across the mysterious village of Brigadoon, a quaint hamlet that seems to have stopped in time 400 years ago.

It is soon revealed that a miracle protects Brigadoon from the modern world by allowing it to vanish at sunset, and only re-appear for a single day every 100 years. When Tommy meets and falls in love with the lovely Fiona, a beautiful resident in this magical town, he must decide whether to return to his old life or stay in Brigadoon — forever.

This enchanting and beloved musical, with its score by the creators of My Fair Lady and Camelot, spawned a generous helping of song standards including "Almost Like Being in Love," "Come to Me, Bend To Me," and "Heather on the Hill."

Brigadoon is a timeless, romantic classic based in all the mystery and magic of the Scottish Highlands, and perfect for the whole family. Brigadoon is a timeless, romantic classic based in all the mystery and magic of the Scottish Highlands, and perfect for the whole family.
